Air Travel

You have two airport options when traveling to Rome. Rome/Leonardo Da Vinci/Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is Rome’s major airport and is located 26km from the city center. There are many airlines who service this airport. Click here for a full list. The second airport in Rome is Ciampino Airport (CIA).  This is a smaller airport that is located 12km from city center and is a used by low-cost carriers.  Click here to see a list of airlines that service this airport. 

Train Travel

Due to Rome’s location and popularity, it is an easy city to reach via rail. There are three stations located in the city, with Termini Train Station being the main station.  This station has rail service to all major Italian cities, as well as daily service to Paris, Munich, Geneva, Basel and Vienna.
