About SMS Collections
SMS Collections are curated bundles of previously published SMS articles from Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and Global Strategy Journal that center around a selected topic with an original introduction. SMS Collections synthesize key findings in established research areas, bring together articles that inform contemporary debates, and discover hidden themes that provide opportunities for future research.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
The Strategic Management Society invites submissions of Collection Topic Proposals (CTPs) for SMS Collections. Collections synthesize previously published research from Strategic Management Journal (SMJ), Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (SEJ), and/or Global Strategy Journal (GSJ) around a unifying theme.
Each Collection is anchored by an Introduction article, which integrates insights, highlights key contributions, and identifies future research opportunities. Collections do not include new empirical article submissions.
EDITORIAL LEADERSHIP

SMS Collections are led by the Collections Editor, who provides strategic and scholarly oversight of the program in close coordination with the SMS Publications Committee. The Collections Editor is responsible for identifying and selecting Collection Topic Proposals, guiding the development of Collection Introduction manuscripts, and ensuring their successful progression through the editorial and peer review process across the SMS journal portfolio.
In this role, the Collections Editor helps curate high-impact thematic content drawn from Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Global Strategy Journal, strengthening the visibility, coherence, and influence of SMS scholarship for both academic and practitioner audiences.
SMS Collections are published in partnership with Wiley, and articles can be found on the Wiley Online Library.

SMS Explorer
The SMS Explorer offers business practitioners, consultants, and academics the latest insights and takeaways in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and global business from the SMS Journals.
Video Abstracts
Authors are invited to submit a Video Abstract to accompany their published paper in the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal.
