Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin

  • Walk for about 5 minutes from the hotel to the conference venue, located next door to the hotel 

Royal Park Hotel

  • Walk from the hotel to the Sha Tin MTR station for about 10 minutes. Take the MTR train to University Station (second stop from Sha Tin for the Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau direction). The train ride is about 10 minutes. Use Exit 8 at University Station. Walk for 3 minutes to the conference venue. 

Courtyard by Marriot Hong Kong Sha Tin 

  • Walk from the hotel to Shek Mun MTR station (Ma On Shan Line) for about 5 minutes. Take MTR train 4 stations to Tai Wai Station (Ma On Shan Line) and interchange at Tai Wai Station for 3 stations to University Station (East Rail Line). The train ride takes about 23 minutes. Use Exit B at University Station. Walk for 3 minutes to the conference venue. 

Regal Riverside Hotel 

  • Walk to the bus stop outside the hotel and take bus no. 89X or no. 86K to Shatin Railway Station Bus Terminus. The bus ride lasts about 5-10 minutes. Walk to the Sha Tin MTR Station and take the MTR train to University Station (second stop from Sha Tin for the Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau direction). The train ride takes about 10 minutes. Use Exit B at University Station. Walk for 3 minutes to the conference venue.

Taxi 

  • Take a green taxi which is designated for the New Territories where CUHK is located. The trip is about 40 minutes and the fare is aproximately HK$300. Please show the taxi driver:

Airport Bus

  • Take airport bus route number A41 from the airport to Sha Tin Central Station. The bus runs from 06:00 to 24:00 at 20-minute intervals. The bus ride takes about 70 minutes and the fare is HK$22.30. You will need to take either one of the following connecting modes of transportation from Sha Tin Central Station to CUHK:
    • Taxi: Take a red taxi to the University. It will take about 15 minutes and the fare is about HK$50.
    • MTR train: The MTR train station is situated above the bus station. Take the train to the University Station (second stop from Sha Tin for the Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau direction). The train runs every 5-10 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00. The train ride takes about 10 minutes and the fare is $HK4.50. Use exit B upon reaching University Station. Use Exit 8 at University Station. Walk for 3 minutes to the conference venues.

Hong Kong travelers coming to and from Shenzhen in Mainland China via the Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau checkpoints can take a local MTR train into town after passing through Hong Kong Immigration. The MTR runs regular through-train intercity services between Hong Kong and Guangdong province, Beijing and Shanghai. The through-train terminus is MTR Hung Hom Station located on the Kowloon harbor-front, where travelers need to pass through Hong Kong Immigration before boarding the train.
