We are delighted to invite you to Oslo for the SMS Special Conference on Sharing Strategies for the Connected World, June 7-9, 2018.
We are excited to welcome you to one of Europe’s fastest growing capital cities, the city of the Nobel Peace Price award ceremony, Munch’s famous “Scream” painting, and Vigeland Park – the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist. The city is surrounded by forests, lakes, and the beautiful Oslo fjord, boasting a wide range of outdoor activities. The city itself is a vibrant, multicultural and economic hotspot. The clustering of financial, digital private and public organizations as well as the governing bodies of the city and national administration, in addition to the many start-up labs, makes Oslo an ideal location to host academic discussions on the many facets of the sharing economy.
The conference will be hosted by BI Norwegian Business School, one of the largest business schools in Europe. The school is located close to the center of the city with easy access to hotels and a variety of attractions. The international team of conference organizers and track chairs will ensure vibrant academic discussions and conversations with internationally renowned scholars, business leaders, consultants, institutions, and entrepreneurs.
Oslo in June offers a pleasant surrounding for academic interactions and experiences. The city itself offers many attractions and things to see and do. The city can also be a starting point for a trip to other locations in Norway or elsewhere in Scandinavia, to experience beautiful scenery and even the midnight sun for those prepared to travel north.
We look forward to seeing you in Oslo, and to conversing about and debating sharing strategies!
