Annual Doctoral Workshop

Learn more about this exciting opportunity for doctoral students. Deadline for nominations is June 30, 2017


Interest Group and Community Workshops are held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 leading up to the SMS Annual Conference before the official start of the program and are held at the Hilton Americas-Houston, the site of the SMS Annual Conference.  Workshops are scheduled to last either the full day or for a half day (morning or afternoon). A sponsored lunch will be held between 12:00-13:00 for all workshop participants. Programming for the day will end with the Meet the Editors Panel after 16:00.

Please note that some workshops have a competitive application process and are denoted on this list with an asterisk (*).  The deadline for applications is August 15, 2017 except for the Annual Doctoral Workshop which is June 30, 2017. We ask that registered conference attendees pre-register for the workshop(s) they would like to attend by September 15, 2017.
