SMS is proud to announce our partnership with The PhD Project! The PhD Project was founded upon the premise that advancements in workplace diversity could be propelled forward by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. Today, their expansive network of partners helps Black/African Americans, Latinx/Hispanic American and Native Americans attain their business PhD’s and become business professors who will mentor the next generation of leaders.
Since 1994, they have more than sextupled the number of underrepresented business professors, administrators and academic leaders. The PhD Project also includes close to 300 students currently enrolled in business and related doctoral programs. This partnership is supported by our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee which supports diversity in the field of strategic management, providing equitable access to resources and opportunities, and building a culture of inclusion.
