Our organization is unique in bringing together the worlds of reflective practice and
thoughtful scholarship. The Society consists of over 3,000 members representing a
kaleidoscope of backgrounds and perspectives from more than 80 different countries.
Membership, composed of academics, business practitioners, and consultants,
focuses on the development and dissemination of insights on the strategic management
process, as well as on fostering contacts and interchange around the world.

Announcing 2017 Calls for Proposals for SRF Funding!
We are excited to share the 2017 Calls for Proposals for the Research in Organizations Program and the Dissertation Research Program. Both programs will award funding over a two year period to Scholars through a competitive process. The submission deadline for both programs is October 1, 2017.
Call for nominations for SEJ Co-Editor
The SMS and Wiley are seeking nominations for one Co-Editor position at the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (SEJ).The call for nominations reflects the end of the terms of Co-Editors Rajshree Agarwal and G. T. Lumpkin, who will complete their terms in December 2017. The new Co-Editor of SEJ will be appointed for a renewable three-year term and will assume duties in January 2018. Success at the 2017 IACMENA Workshop!
We are proud of the recent success at the 2nd SMS IACMENA Workshop that took place in April at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France!
