Membership, composed of academics, business practitioners, and consultants,

SEJ Announces 2021 Co-Editors
The SMS Board of Directors is excited to announce the appointment of Peter Klein as a Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Co-Editor. Klein is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business. He has served two terms as an SEJ Associate Editor and is a Guest Editor for the journal’s upcoming Special Issue on Policy for Innovative Entrepreneurship.
We are also pleased that Melissa Graebner has been reappointed to a second term as SEJ Co-Editor. Graebner, Professor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois, joined the SEJ Co-Editor team in January 2018.
Klein and Graebner will work with continuing Co-Editor Gary Dushnitsky in reviewing journal submissions, managing and assigning AEs and reviewers, developing policies, guiding the journal’s strategic direction, and more.

Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Special Issue Open Call: Catalyzing Change and Innovation in Women's Entrepreneurship
This special issue intends to focus attention on the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and gender. We aim to stimulate scholarly conversations on how women entrepreneurs enact innovation through new products, processes, business models, and organizational practices. Global Strategy Journal Special Issue Open Call: Complexity and Multinationals
In this Special Issue of the Global Strategy Journal, we seek to revisit the question of complexity and organization, with a focus on multinational corporations (MNCs). Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Special Issue Open Call: Environmental Change, Strategic Entrepreneurial Action, and Success
The strategic role of environmental change remains under-emphasized and under-theorized in contemporary entrepreneurship and strategy research. In this Special Issue, we hope to stimulate, connect, and extend research of this kind to help make research on “Environmental Change, Strategic Entrepreneurial Action, and Success” an integrated and growing part of the core of entrepreneurship scholarship. Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Special Issue Open Call: Reframing Social Entrepreneurship Research: Embracing a Strategic Perspective
The purpose of this special issue is to study social entrepreneurship at a critical juncture in the development of this area of inquiry. To accomplish this purpose, we seek to attract research on social entrepreneurship that extends, develops, and/or tests theory in ways that will help frame ongoing research and serve as a critical input for practical and policy decisions. Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Special Issue Open Call: Leading the Digital Transformation of Incumbent Firms: A Strategic Entrepreneurship Perspective
The purpose of this special issue is to discuss the role of strategic leaders in whether, how, when, and to what ends incumbent firms engage in digital transformation. We welcome contributions from scholars in other disciplines who can provide novel, theoretically rich insights into the research questions outlined in the full Call for Submissions.
