Pauline Reinecke is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hamburg University of Technology, Germany. In her research, she studies societal challenges in the context of controversial technology developments (around big data and AI) and ecological problems (around waste management and circular economy) by analyzing strategizing and discursive practices of one or more organizations to infer implications about the future from current agency and constellations of fields and societies, and to examine collaborative change initiatives toward new futures. Pauline is a member of the Strategic Management Society, Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies and Association for Information Systems. In the associated conferences, she is involved in organizing panels and other formats for knowledge exchange. Her interdisciplinary research has been published in journals like Journal of Information Technology and Journal of Management Inquiry.
