Dr. Navid Asgari is an associate professor and Grose Family Endowed Chair in Business at Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University in NYC. As a researcher, he examines the sources and consequences of firms’ responses to technological change using large data analysis and econometrics modeling. Dr. Asgari is on the Editorial Review Board of Organization Science, the premier journal in strategy and organizations, and the representative-at-large of the Cooperative Strategy Interest Group at the Strategic Management Society. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Strategic Management Journal, Production and Operations Management, and Strategic Management Review. A research fellow at IBM Watson Research Center, he applies large language models (LLMs) and computational linguistic techniques to examine knowledge evolution and firms’ strategies in the biopharmaceutical industry.
As an educator, Navid teaches various courses at undergraduate, EMBA, and Executive programs, including Innovation and Change Management, Machine Learning for Strategic Decision Making, and Corporate Strategy.
