Maciej Workiewicz is an Associate Professor of Strategy in the Department of Management at ESSEC Business School. He holds a doctoral degree in management (strategy specialization) from INSEAD, France. In studying strategy, Maciej’s research focuses on how organizational structure influences firm’s adaptation, innovation, and performance. His research has been published in Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organization Design, and Journal of Management Inquiry. In his service to the Strategic Management Society, Maciej prepared and conducted the first SMS Foundations Interview with Sidney Winter (2011) and later with James March (2013). As an SMS reviewers, he also received two Outstanding Reviewer Awards in 2014 and 2016 and also co-created and maintains the Behavioral Strategy Wiki as part of the SMS outreach activity (www.behavioralstrategywiki.org)
