Liyue Yan is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at BI Norwegian Business School. She holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship and a M.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. degree in Finance from SWUFE in China. In her first research stream, she utilizes formal modeling and empirical analysis to study the effects of winning awards on individuals and organizations. In her second research stream, she employs qualitative methods to study the industry evolution of Electronic Design Automation industry. She co-organized the AOM Formal Modeling PDWs from 2019 to 2023.
