Lisa Tang is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Policy at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. Her research lies at the intersection of corporate strategy, organizational learning, and strategic human capital, with an emphasis on understanding how firms build and source capabilities across boundaries. Her research on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) has been published in top journals such as Strategic Management Journal and has won awards such as the SMS Best PhD Paper Prize, SMS Corporate Strategy IG Best Paper Prize, and an Honourable Mention for the SMS Best Conference Paper Prize. She received her PhD in Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and her BA with Honors in Philosophy from Harvard College. Prior to academia, she worked as an M&A investment banker in Asia and Europe.
