Eduardo completed his PhD in Business Administration at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR – Brazil) in 2019 with a doctoral internship at Cass Business School, City University in London (UK) in 2017. Eduardo is a member of the Strategy and Decision-Making Research Group at PPGADM/UFPR, the Strategizing: Social Practices and Processes Interinstitutional Research Group (CNPq) and the Sustainable Food Value Chains Laboratory (SfoodLab/UFPR) in Brazil. He is currently an associate professor at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) in Brazil. He has published articles in well-known journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Technology in Society, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Review of Business Management, International Journal of Management and Decision Making, Revista de Administração de Empresas-RAE. His areas of expertise and interests are processual and relational ontologies, organisational sociology, theories of social practice, decision-making, strategy as social practice, performativity and radical innovation in the food production value chain. In 2022-2024, Eduardo is head of Theme 5 Strategizing: strategy-making from the perspectives of social practice and processes of the ESO (Strategy in Organisations) division of the Brazilian Academy of Management and in 2024 also head of Track 18 – Strategizing and communication of the Brazilian Society for Organisational Studies.
