Bruno Cirillo is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at SKEMA Business School. He has also held a visiting position at LeBow College of Business, Drexel University. Before joining SKEMA, he earned his PhD in Business Administration and Management at Bocconi University.
Bruno’s research is centered on understanding how firm-specific human capital shapes the performance and career paths of knowledge workers, as well as firm’s innovation and strategic positioning. Moreover, his research delves into the implications of both intra-firm and inter-firm mobility, with particolar focus on the dynamics associated with technology spin-offs and spinouts. Bruno’s work has been published in journals such as Organization Science, Research Policy, and Industrial and Corporate Change. He was honored with the 2013 Best PhD Dissertation Award from the Technology and Innovation Management division of the Academy of Management.
Bruno serves as a member of the Editorial Reviewer Boards in Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Journal of Management Studies. He served as a guest editor for Advances in Strategic Management.
At SKEMA, Bruno has been teaching Strategy courses across various Master’s programs and within the PhD in Management program.
