Dr. Ann Mooney Murphy is a Professor in the School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology. Ann received her Ph.D. in Strategic Management and M.B.A. from The University of Georgia and her B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. Her research centers on strategic leadership and corporate governance and has been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, and the Journal of Management. Ann has received several best paper awards, two university-wide best teacher awards, and a Women in International Science Collaboration award from AAAS and NSF. Before her career in academia, she was a CPA and consultant for PwC. As an independent consultant, she advises top management teams and boards on developing effective strategic plans.
