Andrea Schmidl is the Senior Director of Operations & Technology for the Strategic Management Society and has been with the organization since 2016. For the SMS, Andrea is responsible for website and technology administration, office and support management, coordinating meetings for the Board of Directors, and for new initiatives within the Society. She also coordinates the Awards & Honors programs. In addition to these projects, she has coordinated the SMS Special Conferences in Rome, Milan, Oslo, Hyderabad, Frankfurt, and Milan. Andrea Schmidl moved from Canton, OH to attend Loyola University Chicago in 2009. She earned her B.A. degrees in International Studies and History. With her background in history, she enjoys exploring cultural diversity and development through museums, travel, and research.
