I am a tenured Assistant Professor of Management at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) and an incoming Editorial Review Board Member for the Academy of Management Review. I am developing a research program that extends the governance lens to industrial catastrophes. I also study how thinking and theorizing can be improved. In my work, I draw on new institutional economics (particularly TCE), theories of accidents, complexity theory, and philosophy of science. My research has been published in Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Studies, and Strategic Management Review, among others.
