Overview
While conference registration is non-refundable through SMS, registrants can now opt-in to the Registration Refund Program offered by SMS partner Rainprotection Insurance. The program is optional and works like travel insurance. Those who enroll by selecting the “refundable” registration option are eligible to receive a 100% refund of their registration fees if they are unable to attend the event for a covered reason. The program covers a wide range of situations, from illness or family emergencies to severe weather events and travel disruptions.
Coverage Information
Coverage starts immediately after you pay your registration fee and ends on the first day of the conference. Click here for a list of covered scenarios.
How to Enroll
When you register for an SMS Conference, choose the “Refundable” registration option and complete payment.
By purchasing this product, you allow SMS to provide Rainprotection Insurance with contact and registration information and grant permission to be sent emails related to the administration of the refund program.
Rainprotection will provide you with a confirmation email containing the terms and conditions, a unique reference number, and a link for accessing the refund website. Personal data provided by SMS to Rainprotection will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Registration Refund Program.
