Deadline: August 18, 2017
The Strategic Management Society and Wiley are seeking nominations for one Co-Editor position at the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (SEJ). SEJ, founded in 2007, is targeted at publishing the most influential managerially-oriented entrepreneurship research in the world. It is a research journal that publishes original work recommended by a developmental, double-blind review process conducted by peer scholars. Strategic entrepreneurship involves innovation and subsequent changes which add value to society and which change societal life in ways that have significant, sustainable, and durable consequences. Despite its youth, SEJ is a highly influential journal. It is included in the Financial Times 50 list of research journals, and in 2016 it had a 2-year impact factor of 2.537 and a 5-year impact factor of 3.485 according to the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Report.
The call for nominations reflects the end of the terms of Co-Editors Rajshree Agarwal and G. T. Lumpkin, who will complete their terms in December 2017. The new Co-Editor of SEJ will be appointed for a renewable three-year term and will assume duties in January 2018. He/she will work with the other two Co-Editors, Gary Dushnitsky and Christoph Zott.
