Hosted Luncheon Discussion Tables

On Sunday - Tuesday of the conference, the Conference Lounge will hold small, limited capacity networking luncheon events that are open to any registered conference attendee. Participation is first-come, first-served, and some events may require pre-registration. Buffet lunch will be provided. See below for details on each event.

Sunday, September 18, 12:30 - 13:30

Co-Chairs: Rebecca Kehoe, Cornell University, and Federica De Stefano, HEC Paris

Pre-registration required

The SMS Women’s Networking Event will be an opportunity to engage in discussions with scholars of all genders on a variety of career issues, including negotiations, promotions, balancing research and teaching, and finding co-authors. The event will take place in-person during lunch at the SMS 42nd Annual Conference in London on Sunday, September 18th 2022. The discussion will be structured with table leaders facilitating conversations. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, stories, and their own experiences to share. Our goal is to create an environment that invites connection and community and that helps to overcome the barriers based on gender, geography, career stage, etc. that too often separate us as scholars and people. All are welcome, but participation is limited; first-come, first-served based on pre-registration. Please use the link below to register and complete the topic survey – we will do our best to assign you to one of your preferred topics based on these responses. Registration for this event is currently at capacity-- use the link below to join the waitlist.
