Brian Connelly is Professor and the Luck Eminent Scholar at Auburn University's Harbert College of Business. He earned his PhD in strategic management from Texas A&M University and also holds degrees from Indiana (MBA), Johns Hopkins (MSEE) and Rutgers (BSEE) Universities. Brian Connelly’s research examines corporate governance, competitive dynamics, and negative organizational events. He is Editor-in-Chief at the Journal of Management and former Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Journal. Brian has 15 years of experience in engineering and international business with two Fortune 500 companies. During this time he has lived and worked in England, Southeast Asia, and throughout the Eastern seaboard of the United States.
