Luis Dau is an Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. He is also a Dunning Visiting Fellow at Henley Business School, University of Reading. He obtained his PhD from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, and his global MBA from Thunderbird and ITESM. His research centers on the strategic response of emerging-market firms to pro-market reforms and other types of institutional change. He has conducted field research on the topic in several emerging markets, including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and India. His articles have appeared in several top journals in the field, such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Global Strategy Journal, Management International Review, Journal of International Management, Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, and Journal of Business Venturing.
