Robert Salomon is an Associate Professor of Management at the Stern School of Business, NYU. His research centers on technology transfer and organizational learning in an international setting. He studies how, and why, firms transfer knowledge across national boundaries; how firms manage the cross-border technology transfer process; how firms learn from their foreign operations; and how international expansion impacts innovation. Robert Salomon's research papers have been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Strategic Organization, among others. He serves on the editorial boards of AMJ, JIBS, and SMJ. He has been an active member in the SMS, serving in the capacity of representative-at-large for the Global Strategy Interest Group from 2008 to 2009.
