Klaus Uhlenbruck is an Associate Professor of Management and the Director of International Programs at The University of Montana’s School of Business Administration. He holds a masters degree from the University of Cologne, Germany, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. Previously, he was on the faculty of California State University San Marcos and Texas A&M University. He has been an independent consultant for several multinationals. Klaus Ulenbruck’s research interests are in value creation in emerging markets, the management of multinational corporations, mergers and acquisitions, privatization and corruption. He is the author of a book on service strategies for manufacturers and has authored articles published in Academy of Management Executive, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of World Business, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and others. Klaus currently serves on the editorial review board of the AMJ, JIBS and other periodicals.
