David Souder

David Souder is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Connecticut School of Business, where he currently serves as the Interim Dean. He earned a PhD in Strategic Management and Organization from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. His research analyzes the selection and governance of firms’ long horizon investments, including capital infrastructure and mergers and acquisitions, with publications in Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and Business and Professional Ethics Journal. Prior to joining academia, David worked as a strategy consultant and the finance director for a non-profit charter school management company.
