Andreas Schwab is an Associate Professor and Dean's Fellow at Iowa State University. He studies organizational learning and innovation processes in dynamic environments, such as project ventures, temporary organizations and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Since 2005, he is engaged in several initiatives to advance methodological practices by promoting approaches to causal inference that go beyond statistical significance tests and focus on effect sizes, distribution of effect sizes, baseline models and Bayesian statistics. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Entrepreneurship, Theory & Practice, Management & Organization Review, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Strategic Organization, and other outlets. He is a contributing editor for research methodology and statistics at Entrepreneurship, Theory & Practice. He serves on the editorial boards of Organization Research Methods, Organization Science, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and Group & Organization Management. He received his Ph.D. in management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
