Dr. Erica Berte is an Associate Professor of Management at Metropolitan State University, St Paul, MN. A recipient of the Trustees Teaching award from IUPUI - Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Certificate of Excellence in Teaching from IUPUC - Indiana University Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) both in 2015. Erica has published in the Case Research Journal, Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy, The Case Journal, and Journal of Applied Case Research. Her case study, distributed by Harvard Business Publishing, "Balancing Stakeholder Interests and Corporate Values: A Cummins Strategic Decision" was one of the ten-most adopted cases in 2016 and 2017 from the Case Research Journal ranked #10 in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Her areas of research include strategy, cross cultural studies and small technology-based firms. Erica offers Professional Development Workshops in case writing and teaching at leading professional associations like the AOM, AIB, and USASBE.
