Taco Reus is an Associate Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. His research is in the areas of strategy process and global strategy, particularly related to mergers and acquisitions. His research explores procedural qualities such as procedural justice and knowledge transfer, and contextual factors, such as cultural and other institutional dimensions. Current research focuses on how market, organizational and institutional differences influence the post-merger integration of domestic and international acquisitions. His articles are published in the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and Journal of International Business Studies, and he is on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Review for which he received Outstanding Reviewer Awards in 2009 and 2011. Taco teaches about institutional forces influencing firms and their global strategies for which he was nominated professor of the year by 1st-year students in 2010 and 2011.
