Samantha Conroy is an Associate Professor at Colorado State University. Her research is primarily focused on compensation and work-related identities. Her work has been published in several management journals, including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Academy of Management Discoveries. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for Human Resource Management Review and is on several editorial review boards. Samantha teaches courses on compensation and human resource management. Samantha’s research and teaching are informed by seven years of experience working in corporate roles and several years of experience consulting on compensation issues. Samantha earned her PhD in Management from the University of Arkansas, an MBA with a Finance emphasis from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Missouri State University.
