Erica Kovacs is a Clinical Professor of International Business in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business since January 2018, where she teaches International Business and Strategy courses to undergraduate and graduate students. She has been teaching since 1994 and finished her PhD in 2009 at UFPE, in Recife, Brazil, when did in depth research about the internationalization process of agribusiness firms. She has worked in multinational firms such as Philips and Rayovac and has accumulated more than 10.000 hours of consulting in international business and strategic planning. She has also created international business courses and methodologies for SEBRAE, the government agency in Brazil that supports small businesses and traveled to more than 30 countries. She did her post doc at the Institute of International Business at Georgia State University, in Atlanta and is the Brazilian representative for EIBA - European International Business Academy since 2017.
