Rodrigo Bandeira de Mello is Associate Professor of Strategy at the Girard School of Business, Merrimack College, in Massachusetts. Rodrigo is also a visiting professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has been regularly invited to teach at the University Paris Dauphine and Lyon III, in France. Previously, Rodrigo was a Visiting Doctoral Student at the Wharton School, and a Visiting Scholar at the Political Science Department of the MIT. During more than twenty years of continuous teaching, Rodrigo has developed a teaching method based on case writing for the development of managerial capabilities that helped many instructors in Brazil. His research interests include nonmarket strategy and their effects on the competitive advantage and internationalization of firms. His research about political stigmatization of foreign multinationals appeared in the top 10 finalist list for the Best Paper Prize in the SMS 2018 in Paris.
