Eric Knight is an Associate Professor in Innovation and Strategic Management at the University of Sydney Business School. His work focuses on how organizations formulate and implement strategies, with a specific interest in challenges associated with strategic change, innovation, and contradictory demands. His work predominantly relies on qualitative research methods and has appeared in journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, Journal of Economic Geography, and Economic Geography. He has won Best Paper awards in Strategy-as-Practice at the Academy of Management, and in Strategic Management at the Australian New Zealand Academy of Management. He is Rep-at-Large in the Strategy Practice interest group of the Strategic Management Society, and is a member of both the Academy of Management (SAP, OMT), and the European Group of Management Studies. He received his doctorate from the University of Oxford.
