Mike Mannor is the John F. O’Shaughnessy Associate Professor of Family Enterprise at the University of Notre Dame. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. His research primarily examines how the psychological characteristics of top executives influence their strategic decision-making processes. This has included extensive travel to spend time with the CEOs of large organizations in the U.S. and Europe, collecting data from linguistic sources, historiometric coding, in-person CEO interviews, and surveys of the CEO’s team, spouse, friends, and family. Mike’s research has been published in the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, the Journal of Applied Psychology, and several books. He is finishing a term as representative-at-large for the Strategic Leadership and Governance Interest Group.
