Per Davidsson is Talbot Family Foundation Professor in entrepreneurship at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He holds a second professorship at the Jönköping International Business School, Sweden. His current main interests are the strategic use of changes to the business environment (technological, socio-cultural, regulatory, demographic, natural-environmental, etc.) in creating new business activities, and new venture creation as process. The earlier research he is most known for is on nascent entrepreneurship and small firm growth; areas in which he has published extensively and also engaged with policy practice in multiple countries. Per has extensive journal editor experience from Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Small Business Economics and from special issues in these and other journals. He has also served as Chair of the ENT Division of the Academy of Management.
