José F. Molina-Azorin is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Alicante, Spain. His research focuses on strategic management, organizational design, environmental management and quality management, with special focus on competitive strategy, microfoundations, dynamic capabilities, the determinants of firm performance (firm, industry, strategic groups and location effects), and antecedents and competitive consequences of environmental management. His work on these substantive topics has been published in Long Range Planning, International Journal of Management Reviews, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Ethics, among other journals. His research on mixed methods has been published in several book chapters and articles in Organizational Research Methods, Strategic Organization and Journal of Mixed Methods Research. He is also interested in multilevel research. He is Co-Editor of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research, Associate Editor of European Journal of Management and Business Economics and Guest Editor of several special issues. He teaches strategy and environmental management courses.
