Sandro Cabral is an Associate Professor of Strategy at Insper and at the Federal University of Bahia (on leave), Brazil. In 2013 (Fall) he was a Fulbright Visiting Professor at NYU Wagner. He holds a PhD in Management (Public Policy) from the Federal University of Bahia. Sandro Cabral’s research focuses on the interactions between strategy and public administration. He is a board member of the Public and Non Profit Division of the Academy of Management and he is a co-editor of a special issue on Value creation and value appropriation in the context of public and nonprofit organizations for the Strategic Management Journal. His work has appeared in journals like Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Long Range Planning, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Choice, among others.
