Rasmi (Ras) Kokash is a Research Associate in the Department of Management at Durham University Business School. He received his PhD and MBA from EMLYON Business School. Before that, he obtained his B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology from The American University of Beirut. Ras research interests are in the area of strategic entrepreneurship, with particular focus on how different forms of innovations and entrepreneurship influence various firm-level competences, competitiveness, and ultimately growth. He has a much interest in RBV, Organizational knowledge creation, neo-institutionalism (in the sense of how organizational-level entrepreneurship and competences are influenced by institutional change), and in emerging markets- specifically Asia Pacific, and MENA. Ras has been a member in SMS since 2013 and his research has been presented in SMS annual and special conferences. He is privileged to be the co-founder and co-organizer of IACMENA. In addition to research and teaching, he has many years of experience in the healthcare service industry in Europe and MENA regions.
