Kristin Brandl is an Assistant Professor of International Business at the University of Victoria, Canada and associate member of the John H Dunning Centre for International Business. She received her PhD from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and was visiting researcher at Temple University, US and the University of Oxford, UK. Her research interests include the global sourcing of knowledge and services. Moreover, she is interested in the implications of institutional environments in and on emerging markets and emerging market firms. Her research has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies, the Global Strategy Journal, International Business Review, and the International Journal of Operations & Production Management, among others. She is on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of International Business Studies and the Global Strategy Journal and is co-editing a Special Issue at the Journal of World Business. She is Board member of the European International Business Academy and the Academy of International Business-Canada Chapter. She is also member of the Academy of International Business Membership Committee and representative-at-large at the SMS Global Strategy IG.
