Kristin Brandl is an Assistant Professor of International Business at the University of Victoria, Canada and associate member of the John H Dunning Centre for International Business. She received her PhD from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and was visiting researcher at Temple University, US and the University of Oxford, UK. Her research interests include global service value chains and the strategic management of international services. Moreover, she is interested in the implications of institutional environments and innovation in and on emerging markets and emerging market firms. Her research has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal, International Business Review, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, and Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange. She is incoming member of the Editorial Review Board of the Global Strategy Journal and a Special Issue Editor at the Journal of World Business. She is also the Canada representative and Board member of the European International Business Academy.
