Aseem Kaul

Aseem Kaul is Associate Professor of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. His research focuses primarily on the relationship between organizational boundary choices and innovation, using a combination of formal models and large-sample empirical analysis to examine how new technologies and capabilities are best governed. Aseem’s work has appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, and the Strategic Management Journal, and he currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Strategic Management Journal. A graduate of the Wharton School, Aseem is currently the Program Chair for the Entrepreneurship and Strategy interest group, and a rep-at-large for the Cooperative Strategy interest group.
