Charles Dhanaraj is H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest Professor of Strategy at Fox School of Business, Temple University, USA. In addition, he serves as the Executive Director of the Executive Doctorate (EDBA) Program, and Founding Director of Center for Translational Research in Business at Temple University. An award-winning researcher and educator, Dhanaraj has served previously at (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, Indiana University (USA), Indian School of Business (ISB), India, and Ivey Business School, Canada, and Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore). Charles’ research focuses on strategic partnerships and digital ecosystems, global innovation, and strategic leadership. He has published in six top journals and has received several awards for his research and teaching. In 2017, he was elected as a Fellow of Academy of International Business (AIB). He is the founding co-editor of the SMS’s newest journal, “Strategy Insights” to be launched in 2019, and currently serves as deputy editor of Cross Cultural and Strategy Management, as well as a member on the editorial boards of several top journals. Charles worked with a Tata company for several years in corporate strategy and operations management prior to his academic career. He has worked with numerous global organizations for research, case writing, consulting and executive education. A mechanical engineer from IIT Madras (India), Charles earned his PhD from Ivey Business School, Canada. He has an MBA from the Wilfrid Laurier University and MEng in Robotics from the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
