Dr Weiting Zheng is Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the School of Management at University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Her research interests lie at the intersection of strategic management and business-government interface. In particular, Weiting is interested in understanding how business-government relationships influence firms’ behavior and performance, particularly in the context of emerging economies. Her current research projects focus on topics related to (1) the heterogeneity of political embeddedness and how it influences firm strategy, (2) the integration of market and non-market strategy, and (3) managing competing stakeholder relationships. Her research has been published in the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Research Policy. Weiting is Associate Editor at Australian Journal of Management, and currently serves on the editorial board of Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Research, and Management and Organization Review.
