Air Travel to Berkeley

There are two airports near UC Berkeley. 

Oakland (OAK) is the closest airport, serving a growing list of more than 55 international and domestic destinations on 13 airlines. It is located about 15 miles away from UC-Berkeley Haas and is accessible by private and public transportation.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the largest airport in Northern California and the second-busiest in California, offering non-stop flights to more than 45 international cities on 39 international carriers. UC-Berkeley Haas is located about 26 miles away from SFO and is also accessible by private and public transportation.

Public Transit to Berkeley

Berkeley can be reached by Amtrak (BKY) and the CalTrain serves the Bay Area as well as local public metro system, BART (Bay Area Rail Transit)

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) serves the Bay Area, including Berkeley. From SFO or OAK airport, you can take a Richmond-bound BART train to the Downtown Berkeley Station. From the BART station, it is approximatley a 20-minute (uphill) walk to Haas.

AC Transit bus service provides transportation for commuters to and from San Francisco and throughout Alameda and western Contra Costa County. There are several AC bus lines that come near the campus area. Visit the AC Transit website here:
